How you'll contribute Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.Regular and reliable attendance.Perform other duties as assigned. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.Rock Springs Rock Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in Georgetown, TX, part of the greater Austin metropolitan area. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our programs offer caring, compassionate treatment for adolescents and adults, as well as specialized programming for active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and other high-risk frontline professionals.Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Help for Heroes®. Qualifications and requirementsBachelor's Degree in related field required (Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education)Required Certification RHIT or RHIAAdditional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime. With proper credentials, Coordinator may be required to complete vitals check on patients.
