HEALTH EDUCATOR CONSULTANT - 64086454 - STATE OF FLORIDA : Job Details

The employee will provide evidence-based curriculum to Marion County residents on nutrition, physical activity, and diabetes. The employee will submit reports and adhere to all budget allocations by ordering and submitting purchasing orders for annual budgets. The employee will develop/utilize approved educational materials/teaching tools pertinent to promoting healthy eating and an active lifestyle. These materials will be disseminated through classes, community events, promotional campaigns, presentation, etc. Employee will need to travel to community events and outreach. Plan and coordinate healthy decision-making community efforts, including developing partnerships, programs and initiatives geared toward meeting the needs of Marion County individuals to maximize their health and wellness. Represents the Department of Health at community meetings and serves on councils, and task forces in a positive, professional manner.
