HEALTH EDUCATOR CONSULTANT - 64007009 - STATE OF FLORIDA : Job Details

This is a highly responsible and independent, full time professional position responsible for community-based outreach and education efforts of the Community Health Division of the Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County (DOH-Santa Rosa). This position requires the ability to work independently and use critical thinking skills to work with both youth and adults. Public speaking, grant management, and program development skills are required. The person in this position must also have a working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office products. The position requires some travel and weekend and evening hours. This is a tobacco-free position requiring a background check. Serves as Healthy Communities Grant Champion. Assists in developing, conducting, and reporting health education activities and Healthy Community messaging for community-based centers, childcare centers, and faith-based organizations.
