Job DescriptionUnder general supervision of the Program Manager, this position assists with administrative oversight and coordination of the Nursing Home Program (NHP) of the Office of Health Facility Licensure and Certification (OHFLAC). Responsibilities include facilitating problem resolution, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and handling the first-level triage of complaints involving complex individual situations and sensitive legal issues that impact investigation timeframes.
This role also involves processing license applications, communicating with providers regarding processes or additional information needs, and explaining procedural changes to program participants and technical personnel at the state, federal, and local levels.

Minimum QualificationsTraining: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
Substitution: Full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in paraprofessional or responsible clerical work at a level comparable to an Office Assistant III, which involved applying state and federal laws and/or guidelines, may substitute for the required training on a year-for-year basis.
