Head Start Individual Services Coordinator - Keystone Human Services : Job Details

Capital Area Head Start is seeking a full time Individual Services Coordinator to join our mission of making a difference in the lives of children, empowering parents, and strengthening families.As an Individual Services Coordinator, you will manage the overall implementation and coordination of special education services and social-emotional support for children and families. Services include crisis intervention, emergency assistance, child abuse prevention, and case management. This position works closely with the Early Intervention System conducting developmental screenings and implementing techniques and positive guidance strategies to achieve school readiness.Individual Services Coordinators earn a minimum of $24.89 per hour. Schedules are based on the school year and include 1650 work hours. • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, special education, psychology, or highly related field
• Significant experience in behavioral health supports and early intervention and disability services for preschoolers
• Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and learn web based systems
• Valid driver's license and access to properly insured vehicle, or public transportation
• Successful completion of pre-employment process, including Criminal History, MVR, Child Abuse and FBI clearances
• Passion, enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to make a difference
• Experience in Head Start or Early Head Start is preferred
