Head Of Workforce Operations
The Head Of Workforce Operations will play a pivotal role in the operational planning and execution of Games Time workforce services across all competition and non-competition venues for the Olympic and Paralympic venues. Reporting to the Senior Director Games Time Workforce and Volunteers, this role is responsible for leading the Workforce Operations team through the strategic planning phase and into executable, venue-specific operations. This includes coordinating staffing models, workforce services, scheduling, and logistics for paid staff, contractors, and volunteers. The ideal candidate has strong experience in workforce or operations planning in large-scale events and excels at navigating complexity and collaboration.
The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Background & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of workforce operations, venue delivery, or event management experience, including direct team leadership.
- Prior experience leading planning and execution of complex, multi-site live events or major sporting events.
- Experience managing large, diverse workforce populations including volunteers, contractors, and paid staff.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions:
- This role will commence in-office at the LA28 DTLA location. However, frequent site visits are likely required in the lead up to Games Time delivery.
- Individuals should be able to demonstrate a capacity to lead in an operational environment (including, but not limited to, shift-work, evening and weekend commitments, on-the-ground operations)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience); fields such as business administration, operations, event management, or HR preferred.

Submission Requirements:
The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $150,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
