About the Job

The Head of Talent Acquisition leads comprehensive recruitment and talent acquisition efforts for Love's. The role involves developing and maintaining the company's recruitment framework, processes, and infrastructure. Collaborating with senior leadership, the position defines strategies, processes, standards, tools, and policies for sourcing external candidates, onboarding, retention, internal mobility, recruitment technology, employment branding, and diversity initiatives. As part of the HR Leadership Team and in partnership with the CHRO, this role employs innovative recruiting strategies to attract and retain top talent at all levels, utilizing metrics to track performance and strategic alignment.

Major Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Acts as a change agent, strategic advisor, and partner to the business, HR, and TA teams.
  • Supports productivity, workforce planning, and staffing strategies in partnership with leadership.
  • Coordinates with total rewards to ensure competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Builds an accessible recruitment team that serves as a business partner to HR and business leaders.
  • Ensures diverse candidate slates in all recruiting efforts.
  • Supports executive recruitment strategies for senior roles.

Strategy & Leadership

  • Aligns recruitment strategy with Love's overall strategic priorities and HR strategy.
  • Develops strategies to attract and retain candidates across all career stages.
  • Maintains an internal talent pipeline through mobility and succession planning.
  • Enhances employer value proposition to attract talent.
  • Analyzes market and internal trends affecting recruitment.

HR Process & Systems

  • Uses innovative recruiting techniques to attract top talent.
  • Continuously improves the end-to-end talent acquisition process for a seamless candidate experience.
  • Leverages ATS, recruitment marketing, HRIS, and other software to streamline recruitment.
  • Assesses and adopts new technology to improve candidate and team experiences.
  • Develops strategic sourcing processes to meet business needs.
  • Monitors key talent acquisition metrics to stay competitive.
  • Stays informed on labor market trends and manages change proactively.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Develops and manages budgets and expenses related to talent acquisition.
