More Than Cars is redefining how the retail automotive industry shows up in culture. That means more than just being active…it's a movement. We're looking for a Head of Social Strategy to take our already-in-motion social presence and turn it into a strategic growth engine across channels.

You'll drive both brand and personal profiles (yes, the founders too), grow our audience through sharp strategy, and keep us out of the “posting to post” trap. If you get excited by the psychology behind a scroll-stopper or analyzing a drop-off graph on Reels, you'll thrive here.

Who We AreWe're a fast-moving, high-output team of creators, writers, operators, and auto industry culture-shifters. We tell stories people actually want to watch, and we move quickly when the moment hits. Now we need someone to own the why, when, and how of it all.

We don't need a scheduler. We need a strategic weapon.

The Gig Is:

  • Develop and track meaningful growth from social media activity

  • Lead social strategy across all platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, X, and what's next.

  • Build growth plans for both brand and personal executive accounts (and know how they differ).

  • Analyze, report, and iterate on content performance weekly; what worked, what didn't, and why.

  • Collaborate with content, marketing, and creative teams to align brand voice and performance goals.

  • Turn editorial plans and cultural trends into social-first executions.

  • Provide real-time guidance when the internet shifts so we can pivot quickly.

  • Oversee social aggregator tools to optimize publishing and analysis.

  • Write compelling captions, headlines, and micro-content that drive engagement and affinity.

  • Light editing of short-form video content (cutdowns, reels, and remixing).

  • Stay deep in creator culture. If you're not already following MrBeast, Gary Vee, and Colin and Samir, you're not the one.

You Are:

  • Someone who spends many hours a day on a variety of social platforms

  • Social native, not just social fluent; you feel what works and why.

  • Deeply analytical and you back up vibes with data.

  • An exceptional writer with a flexible tone and thumb-stopping creativity.

  • Experienced across tools like Later, Buffer, Sprout, or SocialPilot.

  • Confident editing reels and short-form video in platforms like CapCut or Adobe Rush.

  • Obsessive about creators and the future of social media (you treat it like your second language)

  • Fast-moving, decisive, and able to manage last-minute changes without chaos.

  • Collaborative across departments but not afraid to own the outcomes.

Salary:Starting at $80,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience and results you've driven.

Working hours:You must be able to commit to a full-time work schedule, which is 40 hours per week within the range of 8am–7pm ET business hours, Monday–Friday.
