Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: New York State

Salary: $130k + bonus

A company specializing in Machine Tools solutions is hiring a Sales Manager to organize and oversee all sales functions in the USA and Canada, ensuring maximum distribution of the company's products.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the sales organization, working closely with department and product managers, agents, and direct sales personnel.
• Develop and execute short and long-term marketing policies, plans, and programs to achieve sales objectives.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create effective advertising and sales promotion programs.
• Determine sales policies and contribute to the formulation of marketing strategies.
• Maintain close communication with corporate sales and engineering departments to drive new product development.
• Analyze performance against forecasts, budgets, and marketing objectives, taking proactive measures to address challenges.
• Accompany managers or sales engineers in negotiations for closing important accounts.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and prospects to understand market requirements and address complaints effectively.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and develop plans for achieving sales objectives.
• Review and optimize departmental policies, procedures, and staffing to ensure efficient operation and customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities for subordinate personnel to foster growth within the organization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales management or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
