The Role

We are seeking a head of Program Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects and programs within the technology organization at WorldQuant. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in technical program management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the technology sector.

  • Own and evolve an overall program management strategy in alignment with WorldQuant's goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement standardized program management processes, tools, and best practices
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the PMO, ensuring effective prioritization and resource allocation
  • Act as the primary point of contact for program-related matters, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders
  • Manage a globally distributed high-performing team of project managers
  • Personally manage the planning and execution of select high visible programs and projects across various departments

  • 10+ years in a head of program management role for a technology organization
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex programs from inception to completion
  • Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at all levels
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Technical degree or background in software engineering and finance is preferred but not required

    • WorldQuant offers a comprehensive total compensation package including a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and benefits. The estimated salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, specific to New York, and may vary in the future. Final offers will consider individual experience and qualifications to determine a competitive total compensation package.
