We raised +$30M from top-tier VCs such as Khosla Ventures and are in a hyper-growth phase looking for motivated people to complement our team. Our headquarters are in San Francisco (Salesforce Tower), but our team is distributed around the globe and we have a remote-first work culture.

We are the company behind vCluster, an open-source technology for virtualizing Kubernetes (+10k GitHub stars). Open source is part of our DNA. The adoption of our commercial product based on vCluster has grown extremely fast (multi-million dollar revenue) and our customer base includes some of the biggest companies in the world, including 6 Global Fortune 500 companies as well as some of the fastest-growing tech unicorns.

• Own the Product End-to-End: you're responsible for the full product lifecycle—from triaging ideas, writing specs and prioritizing the roadmap to final release sign-off after QA.
• Talk to Users & Observe Support/Slack Interactions: regularly connect with platform engineers, DevOps teams, and developers using our open-source and commercial offerings to deeply understand use cases and user journeys.
• Dig into the Details: define the “what” and the “how,” focusing on usability, edge cases, performance, configuration specs, CLI commands, CRDs/YAML, and docs.
• Collaboration Across Functions: work with engineering, design, marketing and sales to publish release notes, iterate on documentation, improve onboarding, and create customer-facing assets.
• Set Direction, Fast: synthesize feedback, weigh tradeoffs, make quick decisions, and move fast to ship and drive adoption.
• Course-Correct Quickly As Needed: adapt to new information in a startup environment and clearly communicate changes in direction.
• Drive Open Source and Commercial Success: balance open-core features with paid product functionality, driving OSS traction without sacrificing revenue.

• Live and Breathe Kubernetes: deep understanding of OSS technologies, multi-tenancy, RBAC, CRDs and controllers, networking, etcd, etc.
• Have Built Infra Tools Before: experience with self-hosted, enterprise-grade products used in private cloud and potentially air-gapped environments.
• Understand OSS Communities: awareness of motivations and tensions for open source users and companies.
• Think Like a Startup Founder: ownership, ambiguity tolerance, and bias toward action.
• Love the Craft of Product: strong UX sensibilities for UI and CLI, readable docs, and onboarding experiences for admins and end-users.
• Thrive in a High-Speed, Low-Structure Environment: comfortable solving messy problems, prototyping, launching, and iterating quickly.
• Are Relentlessly Curious: ask why, explore alternatives, and understand how things work across the stack.

• Experience scaling open source usage.
• Experience with Linear for project management.
• Experience with GitHub, Notion, and Slack.
• Willingness to travel 3-5 times per year in the US and Europe.
