What you will be doing... Your IMPACT
Lead all aspects of supply chain and procurement strategy, execution, and optimization across the organization
Oversee the Purchasing Manager and provide dotted-line leadership to the buyer team
Build, maintain, and strengthen supplier relationships to ensure value, quality, and performance
Collaborate with internal teams—operations, maintenance, logistics, and finance—to align purchasing needs with operational goals
Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with a focus on long-term savings and reliability
Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, vendor evaluation, and policy development
Support inventory and logistics strategies to minimize delays and maximize efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards in all procurement activities
Lead the development of procurement policies, procedures, and reporting tools
Partner with leadership to implement strategic cost-control and risk mitigation initiatives

Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
Experience working in the inland marine industry or with marine equipment vendors.
Familiarity with inventory and logistics systems.
