The Company is seeking a Head of People Operations to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission to revolutionize the education system. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and leading the charge in fixing and optimizing people systems and culture. This role demands a strategic partner who can align people philosophy with the company's vision, refine performance architecture, and effectively plan for headcount in line with financial targets. The Head of People Operations will also be tasked with bringing a data-driven approach to headcount planning, deepening the company's compensation philosophy, and acting as a credible mediator and culture-builder. Applicants for the Head of People Operations position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in high-growth, operationally intensive businesses. Deep expertise in HRIS and payroll, as well as a strong command of U.S. labor law and risk management, is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-state, multi-schema workforces and be adept at partnering with finance on headcount planning. A data-driven, proactive approach to people strategy, and the ability to navigate and drive change in a human-centric manner, are key attributes for this role.
