The ACS Head of Operations will act as a central point of contact for all applicable jurisdictions and coordinate any change or response to Artex and/or Gallagher operational policies, procedures, rules, initiatives, and goals. They will help deliver the strategy set by the Global COO to facilitate the development and execution of the long-term business and operational strategy.

The Head of Operations will support the Artex COO in developing and delivering the business and operational objectives of the Artex Capital Solutions division, working directly with the ACS Executive team and heads of all support functions across Artex and the broader corporate environment.

This role involves leading business integration, operational change, process improvement, and the implementation of effective governance and controls across Artex Capital Solutions.

• Assist and support the Global COO in delivering the operational strategy for Artex Capital Solutions.
• Lead on designing and delivering the target operating model (products, processes, people, organization, systems) across all Artex International branches, identifying investment needs and governing the implementation of operational processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Support the strategic development and expansion of the company.
• Develop, implement, and monitor systems and procedures to meet operational KPIs and ensure timely and accurate management information delivery.
• Coordinate with all jurisdictions to develop systems and procedures for management information and client service initiatives.
• Lead insourcing, resourcing, and operational process changes, tracking value creation.
• Work with Compliance to develop risk, compliance, and governance procedures to ensure high-quality operational environments that meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure operations operate within risk appetite and support monitoring of financial risks.
• Support local Business Operation leads in delivering operational and business objectives.
• Assist in planning and implementing integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Contribute to quarterly reports focusing on operational and system developments.
• Support Client Relationship and Business Development teams with operational input.
• Coordinate with Gallagher corporate operations on system changes.
• Act as a central contact for escalation of operational issues and assist in their resolution.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Knowledge of insurance products, services, and legal principles related to risk.
• Experience liaising with a parent organization within a matrix management structure.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate colleagues and demonstrate high integrity.
