What you'll own and improve
- Marketing campaigns: At the highest level, you'll own all our marketing campaigns. That includes all the KPIs for all promotional efforts, lead generation, paid media, PR and digital marketing efforts.
- Marketing team: We're JUST starting to grow this team. (As of this posting, we have a marketing team of two counting the CEO.) So we're relying on you to help us build and grow this team with top-performers around the world. You'll also ensure everyone on your new team hits their KPIs and goals.
- Conversion funnels: You'll own and execute marketing campaigns and funnels at all stages of the customer lifecycle—awareness, acquisition, activation, retention and referral.
- Marketing plan for the year: We go deep on planning. You'll be our marketing quarterback who builds the entire strategy for the upcoming year including promotions and paid media efforts.
- Brand awareness: Along with our in-house content person, you'll be responsible for the overall look and feel of the brand online in content, social media and campaigns.
- Leads, leads, and more leads: Ideally, you'll walk in the door with 57 different lead-generation ideas—and have the experience to test the best ones first.
- Paid media, PR and outside agencies: We do NOT do everything in house. You'll be the one who works directly with any outside agency for PR, paid media, direct mail or any other marketing activities. (And you're excited to craft the strategy for these efforts.)
- LTV, CAC, RPU: We talk numbers every week—and we want to hear from you. Ideally, you're a marketing nerd who absolutely loves digging into and reporting on all the numbers.
- The $$$: Along with hiring, you'll own the monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for marketing.
- The documentation: We LOVE documenting every process we do. You'll own the marketing department's documentation across the board.
- The competition: You'll have your finger on the pulse of everything happening in our industry—including what our competitors are doing in their marketing.
- The innovation: On the product side, we're constantly innovating. So we'd love to see new creative solutions for our marketing too.
- The countless things we haven't thought of yet: Again, we don't micromanage. You tell us what needs to happen to hit our numbers. Then do it. Simple as that.
What you already have
- 5+ years' experience in a B2B SaaS marketing role
- Incredible writing skills. You love crafting copy!
- The background to take on online marketing, including content marketing, advertising, SEO, and social media.
- Track record of building measurable B2B programs and marketing communications efforts that deliver against business goals.
- Strong understanding and experience of working within a SAAS based company
- You can drive marketing strategy and execute marketing plans.
- You love implementing strategies on an international scale.
- You have experience running multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- You have a solid background in web analytics.
- You know and love CRM software—especially HubSpot, Salesforce and others.
- You have what it takes to lead and inspire a team.

- Specific KPIs, targets and outcomes to show off your skills throughout the year.
- Your team is happy, high-functioning and successful.
