About the RoleAdaptive Security is seeking a hands-on leader to own and scale our learning experience function - a creative, high-impact team that delivers bold, memorable learning experiences on cybersecurity and other critical workplace topics. This is not a traditional corporate L&D role. You will lead a growing in-house studio that blends instructional design, media production, and simulation work to push the boundaries of how employees learn and engage. You will start as a player-coach, producing innovative training content and simulations while managing a team of four full-time creators (plus several interns). Over time, your role will shift toward strategy, scaling the function, and raising the creative bar. Our work spans traditional cybersecurity, HR, and compliance modules; advanced phishing simulations; and experimental projects like deepfakes of customer executives to train employees on emerging threats. We aim to be provocative, memorable, and at the forefront of creative learning - think interactive films, gamified experiences, and AI-powered scenarios that immerse employees in real-world challenges. We create all content in-house and leverage generative AI to accelerate and enhance the process. With hundreds of modules already in our library (and growing fast), you will be responsible for producing new content, improving quality, and building efficient workflows that deliver at scale without sacrificing creativity. Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow the team - Manage 4 full-time team members and several interns, starting as a player-coach with a gradual shift toward strategic leadership.
  • Build scalable processes - Create repeatable workflows for content production, review, and delivery across all formats. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
  • Push creative boundaries - Develop innovative approaches to learning, from gamified modules to immersive, AI-driven experiences.
  • Leverage tools for efficiency - Use generative AI and other tools to improve quality, speed, and creativity.
  • Partner across teams - Work with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to ensure learning experiences meet user and business needs.
What You Bring
  • Proven experience leading a creative or learning design team; experience outside traditional corporate training is welcome.
  • Strong instructional design instincts and the ability to make complex topics engaging across text, video, interactive, and AI-driven formats.
  • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to co-create learning solutions.
  • Proficiency with AI tools to enhance creativity and streamline workflows.
  • Strong process-building skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
