POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Growth is someone who is an analytical and creative leader, intellectually curious and results-oriented to successfully drive Ten Thousand's growth and digital strategy. In this high-visibility role, you will have wide-ranging ownership of all strategies and tactics aimed at driving business growth, with a special focus on growth marketing and digital performance. ACCOUNTABILITIES • Establish Ten Thousand's immediate and long-term Ecommerce vision, strategy, and tactical plan. • Lead daily management of all Ecommerce and Performance Marketing operations to drive digital growth and innovation across functional areas including growth marketing, retention marketing, site performance and UX, SEO and customer service. • Develop a metric and KPI based performance framework to measure success of Ecommerce business • Monitor KPIs and provide reporting to cross-functional partners on Ecommerce performance while identifying opportunities for optimization. • Develop and manage monthly Ecommerce P&L to reach aggressive, yet profitable, growth targets. • Identify and execute performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition including email acquisition, paid social, paid search, display, affiliate and influencer campaigns. • Identify and execute retargeting and retention marketing strategies to optimize existing customer and brand awareness including paid media and referral campaigns. • Manage and optimize site operations and merchandising including product set-up, tagging, on-site SEO optimizations and UX to drive conversion and best-in-class site experience. • Oversee the testing and improvement of campaign creative, copy, and audience targeting to ensure campaign optimization; manage and optimize channels to hit sales targets effectively and efficiently. • Manage external vendors, agencies and tech requirements to develop and enhance Ecommerce business and overall tech stack. • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proper messaging, timing and execution of campaigns across all channels. • Research industry trends and opportunities to set Ten Thousand at the forefront of the digital landscape. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Bachelors Degree in Business or related discipline from accredited university. • 10+ years of experience in consumer e-commerce brands. • Proven track record of leading and scaling digital performance marketing initiatives. • Ability to lead, develop, and grow happy teams. At least 5+ years of team management experience across digital, creative, and brand marketing teams. • Experience creating and implementing an e-commerce roadmap, as well as leading internal and external partners in the execution of the roadmap. • Proven ability to vet, onboard, and manage external development agencies with a strong understanding of ecommerce funnels, UX fundamentals as well as design, and web technologies. • E-commerce and paid advertising forecasting and budget management experience. • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced startup environment, balance competing priorities, and create structure and processes. • Willingness to get your hands dirty and execute. • In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Social Media Advertising, Affiliate Programs and email marketing tools.
