Job Description :

The Head of Graphics is responsible for the creation, development, and deployment of designs, animations, and real-time graphics directories at a high proficiency level.

The Head of Production is responsible for both graphics creation workflows. S/he will mainly work closely with the Creative Lead, Head of Production, and other Editorial Leads as well as the studio staff. Communication with the engineering team may be needed to ensure the production workflow runs smoothly. The role will require maintaining communication between both in-house and field producers, editors, graphics team, studio staff, and shooters. S/he will maintain weekly and daily schedules for the graphics team.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This role requires strong leadership and team building abilities to provide guidance/art direction to the Graphics Team.
  • Oversees the creative process, provides guidance and motivation to the creative team, and approves all creative work.
  • Coaches the creative team to reach the full potential of creative concepts, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Leads brainstorming sessions and oversees project management and stakeholder relationships.
  • Works collaboratively with the Creative Lead to ensure creative outputs meet goals.
  • Communicates and translates the needs of Editorial Teams for the generation of high-quality art.
  • Keeps quality control on all deliverables.
  • Understands digital video content and develops creative points of view to frame up and address challenges.
  • Plays a leading role in the establishment of brand-building strategies across all AJ+ channels.
  • Supervises the direction of creative content generation for the needs, ensuring output aligns with direction.
  • Collaborates with the Head of Production and/or Producers in the generation of publications.
  • Head of Graphics serves as a member of the senior leadership team. Attends regular daily/weekly/monthly meetings and others as required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • 8-10 years of working experience in a creative role driving creative process, graphic design, and brand development.
