$175,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

Firm: Alternative Asset Manager

Title: Head of FP&A

Seeking a Head of Finance to join a high growth alternative asset manager. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping the organization's financial strategy, delivering key insights to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the FP&A function, improve financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and budgeting, in addition to long-term strategic analysis
• Responsible for the annual operating budget, and serve as a partner to colleagues to help determine optimal resource allocation, headcount, and ROI
• Provide budget-to-actual variance analyses for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Help implement controls around key spending areas that satisfy the needs of accounting, finance and business partners
• Evaluate and analyze potential transactions, including preparation of detailed financial models
• Assist in compensation and expense analysis
• Ad hoc analyses and other special projects

Qualifications:

• 10 - 20 years of experience in Accounting and/or Financial Planning & Analysis
• Strong analytical skills
• People management experience of minimally 2 years - strong leadership skills
