Job Overview:

We're looking for a visionary Head of Equity Research to lead and scale our research division. This is a unique opportunity to shape the research strategy of a high-growth fintech platform and help define the future of how research is created, distributed, and consumed. You'll be responsible for content leadership, analyst team development, and most importantly, building strong relationships with public company executives and institutional investors — not for sales, but to enrich Prospero.ai's research pipeline and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Research Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute a bold, user-focused research roadmap aligned with Prospero.ai's mission to democratize access to institutional-quality equity insights.
• Lead a growing team of sector analysts and contributors, ensuring analytical rigor, accessibility, and originality.
• Establish and enforce research quality standards that prioritize transparency, objectivity, and impact.

Institutional & Public Company Engagement

• Cultivate relationships with institutional investors to stay ahead of market themes, gather perspectives, and validate research relevance.
• Act as a conduit between public company executives and the Prospero platform — not to broker access, but to deepen context and enhance the accuracy and value of research.
• Source exclusive insights through executive interviews, fieldwork, and event-driven commentary to enrich user-facing content.

Platform & User Value Creation

• Work with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to embed research into the Prospero.ai platform in innovative, scalable ways.
• Champion data visualizations, interactive models, and AI-enhanced insights that meet users where they are — from professionals to advanced retail investors.
• Monitor user feedback, behavior, and analytics to refine research formats and topics.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in equity research, institutional investment, or capital markets, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage analyst teams and deliver actionable, relevant insights to diverse investor audiences.
• Deep relationships with both institutional investors and public company executives.
• Strong editorial and analytical instincts — able to balance depth with clarity.
• Experience in a fintech or platform-driven business is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and on a team.
• A creative thinker with fantastic communication skills and work ethic.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Help define the next generation of equity research distribution.
