Head of Engineering

As Head of Engineering, you will lead this mission. You will architect and deliver end-to-end products that solve real business problems across healthcare, logistics, and financial services, including data platforms, workflow engines, and agentic AI solutions. You will be hands-on, set technical strategy, grow the team, and ensure projects succeed in the field.

This is not a typical dev shop. You will own problems from start to finish, work directly with operators to understand the why, and build pragmatic, high-quality solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of end-to-end software solutions for operators and clients

• Architect and build scalable systems across web, cloud, and data, and select platform technologies that boost speed and resilience

• Design efficient data structures and algorithms for large-scale, high-throughput workloads

• Develop robust APIs, agentic workflows, and reusable infrastructure, integrating AI and ML where it drives automation or smarter decisions

• Guide and mentor engineers, driving code quality, testing, and technical excellence through code reviews

• Work closely with product, operations, and client teams to ensure solutions are adopted and deliver results

• Own execution, clear blockers, prioritize effectively, and navigate ambiguity to get things shipped

About You

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software engineering in a large-scale, production environment

• 3+ years in a team leadership role

• Proven experience developing end-to-end solutions, including architecture and optimization, and owning delivery to clients

• Comfortable building and scaling full-stack systems across modern languages, frameworks, data stores, and cloud environments

• Strong API development skills; practical experience shipping AI-powered systems

• Clear communicator, natural collaborator, and mentor who raises the bar

• You take ownership and figure things out and are biased toward action

TriEdge Investments is headquartered in New York's Hudson Yards. We've designed our workplace to foster the collaboration and spontaneous interactions that drive innovation. Our team works in-office, with flexibility to work remotely when needed.

What We Offer

Pay Transparency

The annual base salary range for this position is $250,000-$350,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon work experience, and/or skill level, among other things. This role is also eligible for a discretionary fund performance bonus.
