About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Employee Relations and Workforce Policies to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing thought leadership in the development and application of workplace policies and practices, as well as leading a team of Employee Relations Managers. This role involves a hands-on approach to tackling investigations, managing interpersonal employee conflicts, and ensuring the highest level of responsibility, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism. The Head of Employee Relations will also be expected to maintain a global employee relations program, make sound judgment calls, and proactively drive continuous improvement in various HR processes. Applicants should have a minimum of 8-10 years' of HR experience, with a preference for those who have worked in employee relations or HR business partner roles. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a JD or advanced degree being a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of state and federal employment laws, experience in developing and improving workplace policies, and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams. Key skills include the ability to conduct complex investigations, excellent communication, and the ability to work with leaders and employees to maintain a positive work environment. The role also involves project management related to M&A activity and reorganization exercises, so experience in this area is beneficial.
