Head Of DevOps - Motion Recruitment : Job Details

A fast-growing, mission-driven startup based in Washington, DC is hiring a Head of DevOps to lead deployment efforts across secure government environments. Their core platform leverages AI to accelerate and secure the classification and dissemination of sensitive data for the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. In this role, you'll take ownership of the deployment strategy and infrastructure, helping deliver multiple configurations of the application across diverse environments. You'll drive improvements to system architecture, develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, write and refine Helm charts, and lead infrastructure scalability efforts. This is a full-time remote position Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years as a hands-on DevOps engineer in high-impact environments
• Active U.S. DoD Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
