A seed-stage startup I'm working with is looking for a Head of Design to lead product and brand design as they scale. The product helps small service businesses (think painters, roofers, landscapers) build modern digital storefronts in minutes using GenAI. It's a real business with real customers—thousands of them—and they're growing quickly.

They're ~70 people now, profitable, and at a strong inflection point. Design has been core to the product's success, and they've already got a small but solid team in place. Now they're looking for a senior design leader to level up the function—set vision, raise the bar on quality, and build for scale.

What you'd own:

• Design org structure, hiring, and team leadership
• Product UI/UX across web and mobile
• Creative direction for brand and marketing
• Integration of AI into user-facing workflows
• Research, storytelling, systems, and process
• Cross-functional partnership with product, eng, and exec team

What they're looking for:

• 10+ years in product + brand design roles, with 4+ leading design teams
• Strong 0→1 and 1→100 experience at startups or growth-stage companies
• Portfolio that shows both visual craft and smart product thinking
• Comfort with ambiguity, bias for speed, high standards
• Ideally: experience designing AI or ML-driven tools
