Who We Are:

At DOSS we're building an AI-native ERP to unlock the next generation of automation. Our team re-wrote 50 years of legacy software to drive a step-function improvement in how supply chain, operations, and finance organizations execute.

We need more people to help us build and sell.

Position Overview:

Core Operations (CoreOps) at Doss is a small group of “expert generalists” that are mobilized around the company's hardest problems. As Director / Head of CoreOps, you will partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership to chart strategic directives, lead and mobilize the CoreOps team, architect critical processes, and drive results across the business. You will lead from the front, balancing execution with mentorship, strategy with action.

You will own CoreOps as an org: growing the team, evolving its charter, and ensuring it remains a future-CEO factory. This role demands a rare blend of judgment, intensity, precision, and influence. You must be capable of both executing and coaching on how to execute, across DemandGen, Sales Ops, Product, Talent, Implementation, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the CoreOps function. Ensure CoreOps continues to be the company's problem-solving engine.

  • Lead mission-critical initiatives. Personally oversee and guide the execution of high-scope projects that move the needle. Step into ambiguity and bring clarity and velocity.

  • Drive alignment and unblock decisions. Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes — internally and within customer orgs — to align leaders and ICs, resolve bottlenecks, and accelerate outcomes.

  • Institutionalize excellence. Identify breakpoints, design rigorous processes, and build systems that scale. Fix it, then ensure it stays fixed.

  • Obsess over talent, find it, recruit it, develop it, organize it, mobilize it. CoreOps is about systematically increasing the output of the organization by making our people and systems better.

About You:

  • Technical from 1st Principles. You can grok hard engineering and logic problems from a place of intuition, not memorization.

  • Systems Thinker. Everything in our business is highly interconnected across people, process, and technology. In order to make progress you need to be able to traverse it, untangle it, and put it back together.

  • Builder-Leader Hybrid. You're as comfortable rolling up your sleeves as you are building high-performance teams and orgs. You do, and you teach.

Bonus Points:

  • Formal education in hard sciences, engineering, physics, or a related field.

  • Experience leading technical programs, complex implementations, or multi-stakeholder operations.

  • Prior experience in a “GM-style” role, where you owned both strategy and execution across a broad business surface area.
