The Head of Content and Social will lead the strategy and execution of social media, content marketing, and communications. This role focuses on driving brand awareness, engagement, and thought leadership across global markets, reporting to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO). The position involves overseeing a team responsible for social media management, content creation, community engagement, and sponsorships, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Core Duties
- Social Media Management: Develop and implement a global social media strategy, manage campaigns across platforms, and monitor emerging trends to enhance engagement and brand visibility.
- Content Creation: Oversee content production, including blogs, videos, and case studies, ensuring SEO optimisation and alignment with the brand voice. Work closely with cross-functional teams to create content that drives conversions.
- Engagement & Partnerships: Manage relationships with sponsorship partners, brand ambassadors, and the community, fostering brand loyalty and maximising opportunities for collaboration.
- PR & Media Relations: Support PR efforts to increase brand visibility through media coverage, press releases, and executive positioning. Handle crisis communications and maintain brand reputation.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing content and social team. Collaborate with other departments to align messaging, and manage external agency relationships when needed.
- Performance Tracking: Measure and optimise social and content performance using analytics tools, regularly reporting on effectiveness and adjusting strategies based on insights.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, or digital communications.
- Proven track record of scaling engagement and driving brand growth.
- Strong background in content marketing, SEO, and digital storytelling.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with a data-driven mindset.
