Job Description :

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for a media operator who brings both strategic acumen and creative flair, with approximately 8–10 years of experience under their belt.

You are mature, composed and confident in representing an organisation at a senior level. You'll act as a trusted ambassador, able to brief leadership effectively and build strong relationships that uncover compelling stories, creative opportunities and impactful moments for commentary.

Ideally, you'll have experience working within a media organisation, though this isn't essential. A background in a start-up or smaller team environment will be an advantage, as we value entrepreneurialism and the ability to elevate reputations in resourceful, innovative ways.

We don't expect you to rely solely on a black book of contacts, but you should know how to build meaningful relationships with media quickly, and think laterally about how to engage different journalists, platforms and publications.

While your background may be rooted in corporate communications, we're looking for someone who can help us develop a vibrant, distinctive tone of voice - someone who isn't afraid to do things differently. You'll be a creative thinker, a strong writer, and comfortable supporting marketing and sales efforts with fresh, imaginative ideas.

We're a close-knit team that moves quickly, so an excellent understanding of the media and journalistic landscape is essential, along with a good grasp of the challenges facing the industry. UK experience will be beneficial.

ABOUT TNM

The News Movement (TNM) is reshaping the way news is told in an era marked by declining trust and increasing misinformation. We believe in giving voice to those missing from today's conversations and are dedicated to helping millions around the world stay informed.
