Head of Collections - Interval AI

Location:Lehi, Utah (IN PERSON ONLY)

Compensation:$80,000 – $120,000 / year + equity

The Role - Head of Collections:

We are hiring aHead of Collectionsto lead compliance, strategy, and operational excellence across all 50 states. This role is both strategic and hands-on, guiding our collections roadmap while collaborating directly with our engineering team to ensure our AI cadences are efficient, effective, and legally sound.

You will:

• Overseecompliancewith all federal and state collections regulations (FDCPA, TCPA, Reg F, state-specific laws).
• Work closely withproduct and engineeringteams to design and optimize collections workflows and outreach cadences.
• Lead thebuild-out of our collections roadmap, setting standards for recovery rates, consumer experience, and compliance metrics.
• Provide operational insights intoindustry best practicesand evolving compliance requirements.
• Partner with leadership toexplore licensing and expansion opportunities, including potential acquisitions.
• Acquire licensing needed in states withstricterobligations
• Ownthe AI collections processEnd-To-End

What We're Looking For

• 5+ yearsin amanagerial collections rolewith a focus onconsumer debt(first-party or third-party).
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks inall 50 states.
• Proven ability tooptimize recovery rateswhile maintaining a positive consumer experience.
• Experience working with or adapting tomodern collections technologyis a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across sales, engineering, and operations.
