The Role:

We are looking for a strategic and well-connected business development leader to help expand our growing location services offering. This is an opportunity to take an area where Red Cottage already sees strong organic demand and transform it into a more robust, consistent, and scalable line of business — ensuring that our properties are top of mind for creative teams and production companies looking for inspiring, versatile locations for their work.

The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with brands, agencies, producers, and location scouts, and will bring the expertise to not only drive business but also streamline and professionalize the way we market, manage, and deliver location services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, nurture, and expand relationships with brands, creative agencies, production companies, editorial teams, and location scouts.
• Proactively pitch Red Cottage properties as premier locations for editorial shoots, campaigns, and films.
• Develop and maintain a location library tailored for production clients, organized for easy marketing and search.
• Manage the sales and service process for location rentals — from responding to inquiries and curating recommendations to negotiating rates and coordinating logistics.
• Collaborate closely with property owners to ensure they understand and are prepared to host production work.
• Provide on-the-ground support for production clients as needed and help troubleshoot location logistics.
• Refine pricing models, rate cards, marketing decks, and agreements to ensure a professional, repeatable, and scalable offering.
• Help position Red Cottage as a trusted partner to the creative industry for location scouting and production needs.

Who You Are:

• Well-connected within the editorial, commercial, fashion, advertising, and production communities.
• 5+ years of experience in roles such as location manager, brand partnerships lead, experiential producer, or production coordinator/producer.
• A skilled relationship builder and seller with a creative sensibility and a sharp eye for locations.
• Deep understanding of production logistics and what makes a location workable and desirable for creative teams.
• Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
• Independent, entrepreneurial, and excited to take ownership of a growing business area with real momentum.
