HazMat HazWaste Specialist - Chenega Corporation : Job Details

CHENEGA RELIABLE SERVICES , LLC Cape Canaveral, FL The Haz. Mat/ Haz. Waste Specialist will be the primary back-up to the IHMP Hazmat Manager the IHMP program ensuring Hazardous Material (HM) compliance with the HMTA, CERCLA, RCRA, EPCRA; other applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations; and related DoD and AF directives (including AFMAN 32-7002). Also provides secondary support for Hazardous Waste (HW) operations in accordance with 40 CFR (Parts 260-266, 268, 270, 273, and 279), State of Florida HW Regulations, Pollution Prevention Act, related DoD and AF directives (including AFMAN 32-7002), and the installation Hazardous Waste Management Plan as directed. Responsibilities Assist the IHMP Hazmat Manager in ensuring shops, and installation tenants, complete appropriate authorization, tracking, and management of hazardous materials. Provide day-to-day support to HAZMART and base personnel. Ensure all shops are following HAZMAT regulations and policies.
