Hatchery Technician/ Sanitation Full Time Hourly 4 Day work week: Night Shift: Monday/ Thursday 4 PM - 4 AM and Tuesday/ Friday 5 PM - 5 AM At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The base hiring pay for this role is $21.45 per hour. Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa. Job Responsibilities: Perform scheduled checks on temperatures in holding areas, hatcheries and incubators. Monitor poult holding room temps and assess poult comfort and well-being. Follow Bio- Security protocol, safety policy and animal welfare policy. Basic maintenance and repairs on Hatchery equipment, limited knowledge on pneumatics, plumbing and electrical. Assist sanitation personnel with cleaning the servicing equipment and room. Startup servicing equipment on hatch days.
