Harvest Operator - Del Monte Foods : Job Details

Our Plover production plant in Wisconsin is hiring seasonal employees to work in our Field Department from mid-June through early October. Essential Functions:Drive and operate the Harvestors to achieve their maximum efficiency with picking. Safely drive Harvestor from field to field while following all established safety rules. Assist Harvest Operators as needed, which may include unjamming harvestor, directing proper travel on roads, and use of CB. Pick up spilled beans around trucks/harvesters as needed. Assist as requested with the training of new employees. Monitor the other operators during harvest operation to ensure safety rules are being followed. Required Skills and abilities:Farm equipment experience helpful. Report to the plant on time to join the group van transport to the field. Ability to operate the Harvestor efficiently to maintain a smooth operation. Work cooperatively with co-workers.
