Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist in operational activities including shipping and receiving, project setup, and inventory control. Additional responsibilities will have the candidate assisting with designing engineering solutions, including preparing project drawings, ordering material, and preparing systems for test and shipment. The work model for the role is onsite. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division in Cleveland, OH. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Support shipping/receiving duties including processing inbound deliveries and coordinating shipments of outbound materials and project equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory of excess project materials. Coordinate cost transfer between projects and arrange for physical deliveries
  • Assembly of system control and HMI equipment cabinets
  • Process and expedite license and software products for projects
  • Maintain inventory of consumable supplies including wire and fasteners
  • Process ownership transfer requests for Dell equipment upon project completion
  • Work as part of an integrated design team to meet project requirements and deliverables
  • Design automation enclosures and establish system cabinet assembly requirements; cabinet arrangement drawings; power distribution drawings; wire list (typically Excel type format); external connection drawings; cable list and routing database
Qualifications for the role
  • Associate Degree in Electronics or military experience in electronics is required
  • Up to 2 years of experience in cabinet design and project execution is preferred
  • Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings would be a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD
  • Up to 5% domestic travel may be required
  • Ability to lift up 50lbs
