Akkodis is seeking a Hardware Engineer for a 6+ months Contract position with a client located in Phoenix AZ.
Pay Range: $52/hr. - $57/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Job Description: Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on Avionics products.Plan and execute Design Verification testing on Avionics products.Prepare test reports for regulatory compliance.Assist in product certification for customer & regulatory (e.g., FAA) acceptance.Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment.Lead obsolete-component replacement investigations.Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.4+ years experience in Hardware/Product Engineering.Experience in Environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics product qualification.We Value
Experience with Product Safety principles for Airborne Electronic Hardware.Familiarity with Product Qualification guidance standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, etc.).Basic knowledge of electronic display principles (e.g., LCD).Experience with complex digital circuit design and debugging.Experience with serial data communication standards (ARINC 429, RS232, I2C).Basic knowledge of hardware engineering standards and specifications.Experience with optical testing/evaluation instrumentation for electronic display characterization.Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize design of products, parts, systems or processes.Clear and concise communications.If you are interested in this Hardware Engineer job in Phoenix, AZ, please contact Ishwar Gupta at (610) ### #### or [email protected].
