Qualifications
You have :
- Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or a related field, 2 years of related experience
- RF and electronic board design skills including schematic capture and PCB layout
- DC level analog design and debugging skills
- Laboratory experience with high speed RF measurement equipment
- Experience building and debugging complicated test systems
- Ability to independently interface with vendors and other third parties
It would be nice if you also had:
- Graduate degree in electrical engineering, or related field, or 3+ years of relevant work experience. Prior experience with optical modules and/or high speed electronics.
- Experience developing software in Python, MATLAB, or C++, Lab experience working with optical components and instruments
- Theoretical understanding of coherent optical communication systems
Responsibilities
- Design and develop hardware test boards for characterizing and testing high-speed electro-optical devices.
- Develop test platforms for both R&D and manufacturing purposes.
- Conduct laboratory testing and characterization of electro-optical devices.
- Contribute to the design and development of System-on-Chip optical engines for telecom, data center, and networking applications.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and expand existing skillsets.
