Habilitation Coordinator - Echoing Hills Village : Job Details

Description The Habilitation Coordinator plans, coordinates, integrates, and monitors the active treatment process that moves individuals toward independence utilizing a person-centered approach to assist the individuals in fulfilling their desires and needs for an independent life. This position ensures consistent delivery of services for each individual and oversees the use of the behavior management process to ensure effective interventions are in place. This position oversees the daily implementation of active treatment. This position is part of the supervisory management team that guides the overall direction of the workshop. Position Requirements Position requires a bachelor's degree in a Social Science discipline, Special Needs, Education, closely related field, or an R.N. license, and one year experience in the DD field, (preferred experience with adults). Prior Supervisory experience and statistics knowledge preferred. CPR, First Aid, and TAPS/CPI certifications will be required either prior to or within 3 months of hire. Position also requires a basic knowledge and ability to operate Microsoft office products, a touch screen, the internet, email, and general office equipment. Position requires a demonstrated Christian background and a demonstrated ability to fulfill the mission and purpose of the ministry.
