Comments:Webb Middle School, an Austin ISD Restart Campus, is seeking a passionate and dynamic Guitar/Orchestra teacher develop and lead a thriving music program. This educator will inspire students to develop technical skills, musical literacy, and a love of performance while contributing to a campus culture rooted in high expectations, joy, and strong relationships.Minimum Qualifications:-Valid Texas teaching certification in Music (EC-12), or ability to obtain prior to start date.-Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.-Demonstrated classroom management skills and a student-centered approach to instruction.-Strong communication and collaboration skills.-Commitment to equity, cultural responsiveness, and continuous improvement.Restart Campus Eligibility Requirements: This position is eligible for an additional $8,000 annual stipend for non-core teachers at Restart campuses. To qualify for this role at a Restart campus, candidates must meet Austin ISD's Restart Eligibility Criteria:-Minimum of three (3) years of certified teaching experience-Proven highly effective with excellent appraisals.-For applicants new to Austin ISD, comparable evaluation documentation from another district must be provided for review.Placement at a Restart campus and receipt of the stipend is contingent upon Human Capital verification and approval.
