Guidewire Application Manager

AAA is seeking a strong & proven Applications Development Manager who will be responsible for planning and managing resources within AAA's Insurance Product Teams. The Insurance Product Teams support legacy and modern policy systems.

Teams operate in an agile development environment, working closely with the Product Owner on new development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts, utilizing various technology platforms.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage technical resources on agile product teams.
  • Be responsible for delivering and executing system capability improvements, system consolidations, and support activities.
  • Collaborate with company customers, staff, IS colleagues, and vendor partners to ensure capabilities are delivered effectively (on schedule, on budget, with quality) and aligned with customer expectations.
  • What You'll Need:

  • Four-year college degree in Information Systems, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing, planning, designing, and deploying technology projects and capabilities.
  • Experience in development, preferably with Guidewire Insurance Suite.
  • Strong leadership skills to energize multi-disciplinary teams to meet business needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective human resource management skills, including interviewing, mentoring, staff development, goal setting, and performance management.
