This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the park, hotel, and restaurant, ensuring excellence in guest services across lodging, dining, events, and cabin accommodations. You'll play a key role in driving strategic initiatives to boost revenue and efficiency, managing and mentoring staff, and upholding high standards for safety, cleanliness, and service quality.   • Oversee daily operations of the park, hotel, and restaurant for a high-quality guest experience including rooms and reservations, food and beverage operations, meeting and event coordination and cabin operations.
  • Create and implement strategic plans to achieve hotel revenue goals and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team. Serve as mentor and coach to all hotel staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as park and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and manage expenses effectively.
  • Monitor property condition and cleanliness and quality of product and services throughout the hotel and Vade Mecum complex.
  • Cultivate relationships with guests, addressing their needs and feedback to improve services
Position/PhysicalRequirements:
  • Typical work schedule Monday thru Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the duration of the shift.

  • Must be able to work a rotating schedule that involves working weekends, holidays and after regular work shifts.

  • Must obtain CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within 90 days of employment.

  • Must have a valid driver's license issued from within the United States or be able to obtain one within 90 days of employment.

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service in person, via email and/or over the telephone.
  • Demonstrated experience using scheduling, reservation, or property management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing, managing, or tracking budgets.
  • Demonstrated work experience supervising activities and responsibilities of a work unit or larger.
