Guest Services Agent - Trinidad History Museum - State of Colorado : Job Details

The Guest Services Specialist will assist Community Museum staff withmuseum daily operations and provide a welcoming environment to all visitors. This role is the firstpoint of contact for visitors to the museum. This is a full-time regular position, with benefits andholiday compensation. Weekend schedules and holidays are required. Duties include:Ensure that museum admission, gift shop and membership sales, daily tours, programsand activities run smoothly. Learn and operate internal point of sale systems, including updating and trackinginventories; mandatory attendance of monthly meetings and trainings in POS - Assist with gift store purchasing, includes seasonal purchasing and budgeting. Answer questions about the museum and the area. Provide support for our volunteer team. Give tours or assist with programs and events if necessary, such as set-up and clean-up(i.e. stack chairs, move tables, load and unload washer, dryer, dishwashers to assist withprograms).
