Guest Service Agent
The Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is looking for a Guest Service Agent to join our team. The Guest Service Agent will be the first point of contact for our guests and clients at our hotel. This is a part-time non-exempt position to work weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests
- Maintain room availability
- Collect and distribute messages for guests
- Prepare bill and collect payments for visits
- Assists in solving billing discrepancies
- Confirm reservations
- Process check ins/outs
- Answer/process all guest calls/request in timely fashion
- Run daily reports
- Count and verify bank
- Coordinate rooms for check in with housekeeping
- Answers inquiries regarding hotel area and services
- Educates guests about the layout of the property
- Offers to make reservations for Knoxie's Table and/or The Spa
- Informs guests of any special events that may be happening during their stay and offers to make reservations
- Secures the privacy of the guests
- Maintains a clean and tidy front desk/lobby area
- Arranges for transportation
- Maintain hotel records

Compensation: Hourly part-time $16.00 - $18.00 an hour.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computer phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role, however, would require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, open file cabinets, bend, stand and climb steps as necessary.
