GTM Engineer - AIR : Job Details

Air is a Creative Ops System for creative teams. Our product automates the mindless tasks that creatives and marketers do every day to manage content and unlocks creativity through image recognition, automated versioning, and approval workflows. We launched in March 2021 and have raised +$70m from world-class venture capital groups including Avenir, Tiger Global, Headline Ventures, Lerer Hippeau, WndrCo, and Slack Ventures.

This role requires in-office attendance at least 3 days/week in New York City.

We're looking for a software engineer who loves pointing their skills at the GTM engine. This is not a marketing ops role with a new title — it's an engineering role focused on building the systems and automations that drive revenue.

You'll design and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and integrations that connect our GTM stack (Salesforce, enrichment, outreach, analytics) with product and BI systems. You'll write code to automate lead flows, scoring, and enrichment in real time. And you'll build the technical foundation that allows our GTM teams to move with speed and precision.

Core Responsibilities

Lead Funnel Automation & Data Pipelines

• Build services that capture, clean, normalize, enrich, and score leads in real time (from LinkedIn, product signups, website traffic, event lists, etc.).
• Maintain reliable APIs and event-driven workflows to enable immediate follow-up by sales.

Systems Design & Integration

• Engineer integrations across Salesforce, outreach tools, enrichment APIs, and product analytics.
• Partner with data engineering to ensure GTM data flows seamlessly into Snowflake/BI systems.

Process Automation

• Replace manual GTM tasks (list-building, routing, reporting) with scalable, code-driven solutions.
• Document and productionize experiments so they can be repeated, measured, and scaled.

Data Quality & Observability

• Own GTM data accuracy and reliability across systems.
• Build dashboards and monitoring to give GTM teams real-time funnel visibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years engineering experience in a technical GTM, revenue systems, or data engineering role at a fast-paced SaaS company.
• Strong coding ability in Python or JavaScript for APIs, scripting, and automation.
• Experience designing data pipelines and integrations across Salesforce (preferred), enrichment, outreach, and analytics platforms.
• Comfort with workflow automation/orchestration tools (Zapier, n8n, dbt, Workato).
• Systems thinker: you understand data models, event flows, and trade-offs in distributed systems.
