Growth Marketing Manager - fold : Job Details

Fold makes it easy to earn, buy, sell, and live off of Bitcoin. Fold takes established consumer financial products and optimizes them for a Bitcoin future. Fold also offers an FDIC-insured checking account, a Bitcoin exchange and wallet, thousands of merchant offers, and more. In 2020 we partnered with Visa to launch the first ever bitcoin-rewards debit card, we recently announced a bitcoin-rewards credit card, and we continue to launch new products at regular intervals. Fold is rebuilding its growth engine—and you'll be at the center of it. As Growth Marketing Manager, you'll own one of the company's most critical mandates: converting verified users into Monthly Transacting Users (MTUs), increasing multi-product adoption, and fueling inbound acquisition alongside our external agency partners and Product Marketing.

You'll lead full-funnel growth strategy and execution across lifecycle, onboarding, demand generation, and retention. You'll test growth loops that drive referrals, reactivation, and product stickiness. You'll operate with autonomy and urgency, supported by contractors and a growing marketing team. You'll partner with Product, Design, Data, and Product Marketing to align messaging, improve onboarding, and scale adoption of our flagship products: Debit Card, Bitcoin Gift Card, Credit Card, and Bitcoin Exchange.

• Rebuild Fold's lifecycle and CRM system in Iterable—improving deliverability, segmentation, and behavioral targeting
• Design and launch onboarding, activation, reactivation, and cross-sell journeys that drive MTU conversion
• Partner with external agencies to run inbound growth campaigns and optimize top-of-funnel performance
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to align product messaging across lifecycle and conversion flows
• Identify, build, and test growth loops (referrals, virality, rewards sharing, product triggers)
• Own Fold's lifecycle testing roadmap—establishing a weekly experimentation cadence and sharing results
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data to improve funnel performance and retention
• Recommend new tools or AI-based platforms that improve campaign velocity, personalization, or insights
• Manage agency relationships and freelance contractors (e.g. copywriters, CRM specialists) to accelerate execution

• 6–8 years of experience in growth, lifecycle, or full-funnel marketing in consumer tech, fintech, or crypto
• Undergraduate degree required (Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field)
• Proven track record increasing activation, retention, and user value through owned and earned channels
• Deep hands-on Iterable experience and comfort working across email, push, and in-app messaging
• Strong collaborator who can manage cross-functional execution across Product, Design, and Marketing
• Comfortable working with performance agencies and contributing to paid acquisition strategy
• Analytical and outcome-driven—you think in cohorts, funnels, LTV:CAC, and experimentation frameworks
• Fast-moving operator who thrives in a lean team and can build from ambiguity

Tech stack includes: Iterable, AppsFlyer, PostHog, Omni, Webflow — plus tools you recommend to accelerate growth.

• MBA from a top-tier institution
• Crypto or fintech experience (especially multi-product portfolios)
• Passionate about Bitcoin and bringing it to more people through seamless user experiences
• Familiar with AI tools and marketing platforms (e.g. Jasper, ChatGPT, Mutiny, Replo, Clearbit, Segment, Midjourney)
• Experience with growth models, behavioral segmentation, and PLG-style systems (Reforge-style frameworks a plus)
