We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Group Leaders to work with us. In this role you will be responsible for the overall leadership, planning and implementation of an after-school group for K-12 youth, including integrated educational projects, recreation, arts and crafts and group building activities.

Reports To: Program Director

Location: 750 Baychester Ave, Bronx, NY 10475

Hours: 18 Hours/Week; Non-Exempt

Salary: $17/hr - $18/hr

Major Duties:

• Plan and facilitate integrated learning, recreational, arts and developmental activities for youth.
• Collaborate with and direct program aides.
• Ensure a safe and engaging classroom environment.
• Support Activity Instructors with lessons.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience working in a High School setting required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based, youth and family development and trauma-informed perspective.
