CPLC Corazón is a client-centered center with bilingual staff where all cultures are welcome and celebrated. We have been providing substance abuse treatment since 1983, offering a variety of treatment modalities.

CPLC Corazón features a range of substance abuse services, including group, individual, family, and couples therapy, in addition to nightly community 12-step support groups. Our 65-bed, ADA-accessible residential facility provides all meals, an on-site laundry facility free of charge, a basketball court, and a garden. We offer holistic health techniques including yoga, tai chi, chi gong, and sweat lodge.

Schedule: On-Call position. Hours will vary. Position is in-person. Able to work a flexible schedule as needed, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Position Summary:

The Group Facilitator conducts mental health and substance abuse groups in a residential setting. Under supervision of the Clinical Lead, they are responsible for providing direct care and support services for all clients, facilitating groups, and documenting group notes. The Group Facilitator will receive guidance, support, and supervision from the Clinical Lead.

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Previous experience in Social Work, Counseling, or related fields.
  • Experience in a substance abuse treatment setting; residential treatment experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and serious mental illness.
  • Possess an Arizona Driver's license, vehicle insurance, and ability to be covered under CPLC's policy.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • Must have or obtain within 30 days of hire:
    • CPR/First Aid Certification
    • CPI certification
    • AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
    • Current TB test
  • Must successfully complete the agency's orientation and demonstrate competence regarding skills and knowledge per R9-20-204.
  • Must pass a drug test upon hire and adhere to the CPLC chemical use policy.
