Requirements of the Group Facilitator - Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The Group Facilitator is responsible for patient care activities as directed by the Director of Clinical Services, providing individual and group therapy for the IOP program, and collaborating with the treatment team.

This position is ideal for candidates seeking a part-time role.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a health-related field. Master's Degree preferred in lieu of licensure.
  • Active Florida license in the relevant field preferred.
  • Current CPR Certification or must be obtained.
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training or must be obtained.

Essential Job Functions of the Group Facilitator - Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

  • Document assessment of patient progress/regress and interventions in medical records regularly.
  • Meet one-on-one with patients and document accordingly per policy.
  • Share pertinent information with the team from patient interactions.
  • Call patient families to provide updates or intervene as needed.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment plan meetings.
  • Evaluate the impact of therapeutic interventions on the therapeutic milieu.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions and document notes.
  • Respond to and coordinate emergency clinical interventions.
  • Document group notes and crisis interventions.
  • Communicate clinical concerns during rounds.
  • Perform nursing procedures under supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
