Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are looking for a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing routine building maintenance, exterior groundskeeping, and light custodial work to ensure a clean, safe, and functional facility. Key Responsibilities:Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) on schedule and maintain accurate recordsPerform exterior upkeep, including grounds maintenance, sidewalk cleaning, and parking lot careHandle light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and restocking suppliesOversee and perform daily trash and recycling removal; transport waste to proper disposal areasConduct minor electrical work (e.g., replacing ballasts, outlets, cords, and fuses)Complete light carpentry, patching, and painting tasksAssist with other duties as assigned to support facility operations Physical Demands:Ability to climb ladders and work at heightsFrequent bending and stoopingMust be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionallyQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required2-3 years of facilities maintenance experienceForklift experience requiredWorking knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry basicsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindsetWhat We Offer:Competitive payPaid time off and paid holidays401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid life and long-term disability insurancePlease note: employment at Freeman Boatworks is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
