Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Engineering Supervisor, the groundskeeper assumes responsibility and accountability for performing all out door clean-up and service functions at both hospital and hospital owned properties. Work performed in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Flexible working hours and winter on-call are required.Core Job ResponsibilitiesAbility to keep lawns and landscape in good condition by routine cutting of grassNurture all flowers and shrubs with associated projectsComplete annual mulching and weedingComplete assigned rounds when requiredPerform snow removal when requiredPerform salting / sanding as required with special attention given to building entrances.Provide service for moving equipment and / or materials throughout networkMonitor fuel storage of gas & diesel used by network vehiclesKeep equipment and vehicles clean and presentablePerform semi-skilled Carpentry & Painting workPerform parking lot striping and curb painting when requiredPerform other duties as required.Education/Experience RequirementsRequired:High School diploma or equivalent.
