Department Facilities - Grounds
Responsibilities - Responsible for mowing and landscape maintenance including the operation of zero-turn mowers. Provides other general landscape maintenance tasks included but not limited to: edging, raking, debris removal, chemical applications, and general plant maintenance.
- Responsible for landscape aeration including the operation of tractors with aeration implements at assigned areas on campus. Responsible for landscape overseeding including the operation of tractors with overseeding implements. Related duties may include operation of top dressers and verticutters.
- Responsible for landscape site preparation, fertilization, sod removal, sod installation and other general landscaping and groundskeeping responsibilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned in support of Grounds and Landscape Operations including assisting the Irrigation Crew, Tree Crew, and Planting Crew.
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications - The ability to lift 25 lbs
- The ability to work in inclement weather
