Grounds Worker (Landscaping) - Parkersburg - West Virginia Staffing : Job Details

Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one month experience. Driver's License (BFOQ: to transport equipment to and from job site.)

Job Description: The Grounds Worker keeps premises of grounds surrounding the buildings, structures or other commercial or institutional building in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties: Cuts and trims grass and possibly trees, and shovels snow with equipment provided. Operates power lawnmowers and other types of machinery and equipment. Transport small equipment or tools between Goodwill and the work site. Sweep and pick up trash in the parking lot and entrances. Monitor area grounds and pick up any litter. Loads and transports debris, materials, supplies and equipment. Washes, cleans, lubricates, adjusts and provides routine maintenance for assigned equipment. Maintain janitorial/mowing supplies. Assists in special event preparation. Other duties as assigned. The position is day shift working hours may vary. Wage is $10.00 an hour.
